That UF DL is better than I thought. However, if we run Kelly outside he might break the NCAA record for single game total running yards lol

I agree. We haven't played yet. I'm not making fun of anybody for losing, especially losing to a team like Michigan.

Its not about who they lost to, but how they lost. Scoreboard is deceiving. Michigan's QB missed open TD throws and their kicker missed two FGs including a chip shot.

Meanwhile, Florida's offense cored three points, flipped through QBs, and couldn't stop a one-man rush from getting to the QB. Play after play Zaire was pressured.

How can a Vol fan not enjoy it!! Relish the moment and worry later if we need to. Right now, it feels good!

They still have a pretty good freaking defense, it will keep them in plenty of games.

The defense is good, but they have got to be sick of playing hard and watching their offense play like crap. Its been years of the same thing for them. Their fans must be going crazy!!

Plus, this is college football, not the NFL. Unless you are Alabama, you need offense to sustain success.

Gators didn't look good today. That makes me believe we will have a good chance against them in a few weeks. Hopefully we will look better than they did on Monday.

While the logical side of me thinks you are certainly correct, the trash talk side of me says LOL as it is always a good day when Florida gets a butt whipping!

Well, UF has usually looked horrible the 1st game and still winded up winnning the East.

We haven't even played yet, i wouldnt get too carried away yet. We may look like hot garbage too. While i do enjoy a UF azzwhoopin' their D line looked pretty good and UM's D looked fast, and stout.

Wierd day though, 1st time ive ever pulled for UM, much less pull for them and FSU the same day....odd

Even Del Riois lauging and all smiles....probably because he will now get a chance to play after his team got a butt-whooping!!!!!!!!!!

Del Rio may regret it after a game or two behind that OL.

Well, I never said I think they will win the national championship. Will they be able to beat quite a few teams in the SEC East... I think so.

I don't know about that, man.

I mean, sure, there is a good chance Florida can get their crap back into one bag and be moderately good, about like last year.

But there is an even better chance they implode. Not just because of a turrible OL, the lack of a good QB, and an undisciplined defense. But also because of the ongoing distraction of the credit card scandal and, on top of that, this question of one player turning in other players and the locker room schism that is bound to create.

4-8 is Florida's MML (modern misery limit). They could sink lower than that this year. It is not a certainty, not at all, but is a distinct possibility.

To be honest, I don't see anything different about them this year than any year in recent memory. Good D, poor O, usually has been enough for them to win some games especially in the East. Time will tell.

The scandal is certainly a new distraction, a new dimension. Haven't had that in recent years.

But sure, this is just the 1st game. Biggest improvement is between game 1 and game 2, right? Could go the way you think.

As you said, we shall see.
