We are well ahead of schedule.

Very pleased with what's going on with McElwain.

Can't understand why....just because your first year coach has taken a bunch of OL misfits, a RSFr QB and a handful other young skill position players and turned them into the prohibitive favorite to win the East....and has them undefeated and first in the ESPN SEC power ratings....what's there to be pleased with really? Don't you know that you're too young and inexperienced?

I know that coach McElwain is a real good Xs & Os coach. The numbers don't lie. I know that most Gator fans were not to thrilled with this hire. I know that McElwain was not the big sexy hire that Gator Nation wanted, but anybody who's kept up with college football knows that he's a awesome game day practicenor, and it's already showing. Just watch the 4th quarter of our game, and you could see how calm and in control McElwain had your Gators on the sideline. If he can get it going on the recruiting trail, just imagine how good he will have the Gators playing and looking with a upgrade in talent. One thing that really got me to thinking this way, is how he handled that throat slashing incident. Anyone who knows football can tell that McElwain made a big statement and example showing that he's the big chief on the sidelines. Watching how McElwain has got the Gators playing this season compared to Muschamp last season, is like night and day difference. He's 6-0 with with the players that Muschamp had last season. If that doesn't prove how good of a coach he is to some of the fans in Gator Nation, they don't know crap about SEC Football.

It wasn't Gator Nation who needed to be convinced McElwain was a strong hire.

Many unenlightened folks here were sure McElwain was Derek Dooley 2.0.
