So Florida is looking to move to an air raid offense?

Florida's offensive problems all start and end with Urban Meyer. He is trying to run a power offensive scheme without a big strong RB. What top RB wants to run dive plays into the line 10-12 times a game? They want to line up 7 yards deep and pick their hole.

Gator fans are two things. First, spoiled rotten. Second, convinced that we stunk because of Addazio.

Not a good combination for that man.

Cam Newton's success at Auburn has got to be driving him crazy. I would love to be a fly on the wall if Newton ends up with a Heisman and a NC trophy.

A fly on the wall where? :loco:

I'm sure Meyer and most UF fans would have loved to have Newton this season, but I doubt he's going crazy over it. Meyer went crazy last year when he gave Addazio control over the program during his LOA.

Addazio was Meyers Randy Sanders. Seriously, Addazio was and is nothing more than a scapegoat for Meyer being exposed... Meyer's "coaching ability" was greatly skewed by having Tebow, Harvin and NFL caliber defenses. Take away a few all-world, amazing, once in a life time roster and his "coaching" led to a 7-5 record. Hell, even Fulmer would have had a 9 win season with the talent left on that Florida team.

It's a good thing Meyer had Tebow and Harvin at Utah and Bowling Green.

Didn't say he wasn't a solid coach... He did well at BG and especially at Utah. I just don't buy into what many people believe in, that he's one of the top coaches in the country.

You're in the minority, but you're entitled to your opinion.

I think you can call this season a coaching crapjob.

Yep, I've said several times Urban took this year off.

His record this year is the exception to his coaching career.

You don't win 13 games 3 out pf 6 seasons in the SEC without being a damn good coach.

looks like the whole staff is leaving

That's the norm I believe. Tennessee keeping Chaney and LT was an exception to the rule. With the talent that's at Florida right now even a *decent* coach will get them a winning record next year. I just have a sneaking suspicion that Florida is not going to settle for a *decent* coach.

You do when you've got the likes of Tebow. That guy willed victories. He had a lot of good assistants over the years, between that and some inherited world class talent - You could insert a lot of solid coaches and the results could and should have been the same. He was solid no question, I just don't buy into him being one of the best in the country.

I'm sure Florida will land on its feet.

Meyer went undefeated at Utah and turned around a 2-win Bowling Green program into a 9-win program by the time he left.

Sure...Meyer's coaching success was all due to Tebow. :good!:
