Florida overwhelms No. 1 Tennessee, romps by 30-West

Am I crazy or was this not all that surprising? The schedule hasn’t been very hard to date and IU beat us in an exhibition. Not sure we really know how good we are yet.

I’m not saying we aren’t good, and we certainly aren’t losing to the Gators by 30 again, but will be interesting to see where we go from here.

I posted numerous times last week that Fla was likely to win the game. "Don't be surprised if Uf wins." But not by 30.

Tennessee arrived in Gainesville as the last undefeated team, 14-0. What happened after that must have been a terrible shock. The Gators jumped ahead 12-0. The Vols went most of seven minutes without a field goal. They missed all 14 three-point attempts in the first half. They trailed by 19 at intermission.

After that, things got worse. Florida romped, 73-43. The Vol output was the lowest in Rick Barnes’ 10 years at Tennessee. Wow I just re-read the article. Beatdown.

Yes. Most are trying to move forward. If you really want to waller in it, go back and review the gamethread. Talk about a cess pool.

Just read we are just ahead of Flordia in NET ranking and just below them in KenPom. We need to continue to handle business and get that game back when they come to knoxville.
