Florida QB commit who lost his scholarship offer because he said the "N" word, now holds offer from HBCU

Pretty crazy that prestigious university down in the dumps revoked a scholarship for what a person sang but allowed a murderer to play on the team. Times have really changed.

and they had a QB that had child porn issues, but just suspended him, & then waited to kick him off the team. But did not hesitate a split second to kick a kid off the team for singing a rap song. Glad to see where the priorities are

So Rashada commits to Florida 10th November; Stokes offer is pulled 20th November; Kitna is questioned 30th November, arrested the 2nd December and dismissed from team; Rashada signs 21st December then request release on the11th January and is released 20 January.

Lots of moving parts for Ole Billy

Until we move past these trivial issues there will never be “color blindness” in this country.
This particular situation was stupid, but we'll never have "color blindness" in this country anyway. There's too much hatred, ignorance, stubborness, and stupidity being passed on generationally by all sides. We've taken major steps in the wrong direction as a country on those fronts. Sports are the closest thing we have to unity in this country. It's really sad honestly.

It’s either revoke his scholarship, or face the mob. They just went with the safest option. I can only imagine the news articles ran and potentially adverse impact on recruiting if they decided to keep him.

Way too much money and political gain in keeping people divided as well.
