Florida State vs LSU (7:30 pm ET)

The look I saw from LSU last night was vaguely familiar. Remind you this was game 1 but it reminded of Butch's last season when the team quit. The only reason that game last night was close is because FSU just truly isn't very good either. Otherwise it is a likely blowout
Well, dang it, that's why i didn't watch it. If I knew it was going to be a derp contest and LSU was going to win the derp contest, I would totally have watched it. Now that I know how it ended, it just wouldn't be the same. Oh well. Opportunity lost.

Well, everybody says a dumb coach can win a Natty at LSU. I guess this is where we find out if Kelly is dumb enough to do that.

Trying to remember. Weren’t there some extracurricular activities that contributed to O’s demise?
Nobody cares about the extracurriculars if they were still good.

He was fired because he went 11-11 (8-10) after the title and it became clear the title year was a one off, flash in the pan-type of deal and not something repeatable. Their O line and defense were both horrendous in 2020 and 2021 and will take Kelly some time to clean up. If O didn't have the off the field stuff, maybe they give him another year to get it together.

Coach O is not a very good head coach. He is a good recruiter, but when he lost Aranda as DC and Joe Brady to help the offense, his hires to replace them were subpar and it was obvious.
