Never said anything of the such, but to say a team will triple the previous 4 games totals on a defense is a little ridiculous IMO. You guys average 40 points a game against defenses that are in the bottom half of the country, where do you believe you will score 28 points? I think it will be a great game but UF will not score 4 TD's against our defense.

The best Bama has faced is... Penn State (#30)

The best UF has faced is... Tennessee (#59)

I personally believe Tennessee would bash Penn State... but that's just me...

I agree with that.

I simply think whoever runs the ball more effectively is going to win on Saturday. And right now I have trouble believing UF is going to have much success on the ground.

If you look at the stats purely, you would be hard pressed to find two teams matched as evenly as UF and Bama are.

I don't think Bama runs all over our defense, just like we won't run over Bamas. Game will come down to Special Teams, QB play, and Field Position.

True. But that's only if you look purely at the stats. That's why I asked the question about rushing defense. Take a look at the total defense (YPG) rankings for Alabama's opponents :

#8 Penn St
#36 Arkansas
#42 Kent St
#117 North Texas

Florida's Opponents:

#60 Tennessee
#65 Kentucky
#91 FAU
#118 UAB

While neither team has taken on a slate of world beaters, I think you'd be hard pressed to argue that UF has put up similar stats to Alabama while playing similar defenses.

Those of us who live in Bama absolutely loath the bammer fans. Obnoxious beyond belief. I suspect it is even worse in the Birmingham area.

Wow.

I can't wait for the week of the Bama game. I especially cannot wait until the week after the Bama game.
