Gators come in at 12-3, on a roll offensively with 4 straight wins after a loss to Jacksonville in OT, 71-68. While the Gators have not looked impressive the entire season, they have went to some tough places and won (ex: FSU and Xavier). So, they do know what it takes to win on the road.
Tennessee comes in 10-5 with more question marks than a judge has in his mind when doing a court-case. Vols have struggled against non-chalant teams and then play like a top 5 team against good basketball programs. With quality wins over Pitt, Villanova, and Memphis (questionable if that was a good UM team). While suffering losses to Oakland, USC, College of Charleston, Charlotte, and Arkansas. No doubt Tennessee can compete with anyone, but they have major consistency issues.
I expect the crowd to be into with only a few hundred tickets remaining for the game, which could be a factor. Florida is also not a "great team", so it's not guaranteed that Tennessee will run the Gators out of the arena. In an unbiased way, I think the Gators have more offensive efficieny right now, which will lead them to a 71-64 win over Tennessee, Tuesday night.
I would like some thoughts from Vol fans on the game, if you wish to comment. Best of luck to Tennessee.
Go Gators!
