Florida vs. Vanderbilt

Coming off their biggest win in three years coupled with the fact that USCe is looming could distract them, but they should win.

Well it'd be that huge games with both USCe and UGA are looming and Vandy's the kind of team to be overlooked when there's two weeks like that coming up afterwards

But yeah, they should handle them.

The way that J. Franklin has been recruiting, I don't think that too many SEC coaches will be inclined to call the dogs off. I expect it to be within 10 points at the half and then VU will get its doors blown off in the 3rd Q.

I hate the Gators, but Vanderbilt is just annoying. I hope Florida destroys them. If they do then the game will be brushed overas nothing special. If Vanderbilt actually wins then it will be a common topic until UT actually beats those reptilian ****ers.

The only thing i can think of is that maybe it is a trap game for Florida. I just don't see how Vandy is going to move the ball against that Defense. Florida's corners are going to be all over Jordan Matthews and they have too much speed for Rodgers to run all over them.

Total trap game with uscjr and uga following. Vandy seems to get a lot of trap games with the big boys that makes them have hope.

Its such an obvious trap game that it isn't a trap.

This may be the first time I have agreed with you. If members of this forum can see it I'm sure the coaches can. Florida is playing with fire right now and I could see this game getting ugly

Now that I think about it if I were Vandy player I would be scared as heck!

I don't gamble but if I were going to, this looks like a good time to start.

3. Florida will avoid a letdown and hammer Vanderbilt
I simply cannot write my weekly bold predictions article without including the team that has delivered for me all season long. Last week the Gators beat LSU, and now they have to travel to Nashville with huge games against South Carolina and Georgia on deck. It is arguably one of the biggest sandwich games of the year, but I think Florida will come to play this week and take care of business for several reasons.

First, Vanderbilt will have the Gators' attention after nearly upsetting South Carolina earlier this season and going on the road last week and getting a conference win at Missouri. Second, the key to winning road games is bringing your defense and special teams, and those units are Florida's greatest strengths -- both rank among my top 10 in the country in each category. The Gators also have one of the best running backs in the SEC in Mike Gillislee, who ran for 146 yards last week against LSU's stout defensive front.

Finally, even if Florida sleepwalks through the first half, remember that the Gators have outscored their opponents 41-0 in the fourth quarter this year. UF has won in its past 10 trips to Nashville by an average of 20 points per game, and will make it 11 straight with a dominating two-touchdown-plus victory on Saturday.

Pittsburgh will upset Louisville, plus more bold predictions for Week 7 - NCF - ESPN

I know this is game Florida can easily overlook, but I just can't see Vandy staying within 2 touchdowns of UF. Vandy will hang for the first half but that will be about it.

I hope Florida wins by a hundred. As much as I can't stand Florida and Will Muschamp, I dislike Vanderbilt and James Franklin on a whole other level.

Can’t even think of a time I’ve wanted Florida to do what they usually do to Vanderbilt more than this week. It’s come to this.

I now see how the line is so low. Muschamp refuses to do anything remotely similar to “throwing it downfield”.

Pathetic. The one game I’m not rooting against Florida and they are playing like I wish they always played like.

I didn’t think Vanderbilt could get more annoying, but these uniforms are getting to me.
