Florida gonna get the Gaddy brothers at DT? I know they are currently committed to Maryland.

The fact is that there is Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, I suppose FSU, and then everyone else.

We did just fine in the everyone else category. Filled some needs, etc. But no, like everyone else in the everyone else category we missed out on the superstars. Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and FSU got all of them locked up.

As long as those coaches stay put, its going to be awhile before that changes, it would appear.

Their offense looked pretty good with Grier and now they will have a better OL.

A lot hinges on Franks. Everywhere else should be well above average.

Well above average or acceptable? I only think their WR's and kicker are well above average.

QB is the great unknown for us...again...

All the other piece parts on offense are legit.

Callaway and Cleveland are elite WRs; Swain and Hammond are very solid.

Scarlett and Perine are well above average RBs. Scarlett might be elite.

Goolsby and Lewis are well above average TEs, although Goolsby is awful in pass protection.

OL is improving.

D will take a step back but the O will be better IMO.

Agree 100%.

The only area of our defense I'm not concerned about is LB.

Secondary is the biggest question mark, losing two potential 1st rounders. And unless someone emerges between now and August, we won't have an elite DT like the past two seasons (Bullard and Brantley).

Your RB's and TE's are the epitome of solid but unspectacular. Not a game changer in the bunch but solid. The OL is below average but improving like you said. Your WR's are very good. QB is a mystery but so are ours.

What is your depth at LB? Do you really feel that the freshman were that good last year or simply looked good against teams that couldn't pass (LSU and Iowa)?

Scarlett is a potential game changer...we can agree to disagree there.

Goolsby and Lewis are underrated as pass catchers at TE.

Agree on OL and QB.

Depth at LB is a concern, but I'll go on record as saying there will be little dropoff with our starters.

Reese and Joseph are that good, and when healthy Kylan Johnson is a upgrade over recently departed 4* disappointment Daniel McMillan.

The reverse will happen with UT IMO. D will get better (plenty of room and better staff) O will take a step back with experience at key spots.

Did I miss something here? For all the doom and gloom Florida finished with the number 10 class according to 247. Seems pretty good to me.

I dont know why everyone keeps saying their D will take a step back. What do you base this on? UF has had a great defense for years.

They lost a lot of talent (which the good D's do most every year) I don't think they have refilled as well over their last 2 or 3 classes.

Most of which will not have an immediate good impact on their 2017 defense or offense. If they do, that probably furthers the idea that the 15' and 16' classes (specifically defense) were what everyone thought the were.

In case you feel down today. Just remember it's been 521 days since Florida beat Tennessee.

Pretty sure the conquering team gets bragging rights until the next year's battle. So in the immortal words of my GPS best friend, "recalculating."

Na. I know the first year was counted when I had to listen to their drivel for over a decade. I'll take what I can get.
