Dunkley will commit at the UA game, and Easley will have to wait until Monday. The UF coaches are a bit surprised by the turnout and the reception and will have a meeting on Monday to review their offers and redo their recruiting board.

Yeah, even though I hate the Gators and Urban Meyer with a passion, you can't deny their ability at all things football.

We might want to just get in line for whomever they can't use and hope somehow they blow it on the evaluations of some of these guys. It'd be nice if they started at UT with a chip on their shoulders.

Honestly, it's one of my attractions to Cam Newton.

You hope that the staff did a bad job evaluating Cam Newton?

what better program to measure yourself against than the one that has 2 NCs in 4 years? Also, I noticed no one took a shot at Freak for posting about UF?

I don't think I understand the measurement thing. Does that have to do with Newton?

Who's freak and what shot?

I wouldn't touch Newton, the guy's awful. I got into many arguments with fellow gators because I thought the kid sucked as a QB. I had it rubbed in my face when somehow he became a 5-star, but later on everybody saw the same thing when he threw every ball into the ground and gets sacked over and over.

Wonder if some of those guys are there doing some inside recruiting for other schools...like perhaps Joyner for FSU.

I always want to know who our rivals are looking at, esp if we are in the mix for the same guys

Just got back from Gainesville and it was a sight, site and sound to behold.
No one got arrested that I saw but the guy that was committed to Miami really was a jerk. Luc looked like he could start on a NFL team now. Made my son (2011) prospect look like a kid.

Welcome to the board. Anything else you can tell us?

You know Rex, this is a board of not just UT fans but of rival fans as well. It's pretty cool that a lot of them come to us for their info. I say keep up the good work. :good!:

The camp was run very well. Plenty of beautiful coeds in the registration room. The Jumbotrons were brand new and the sound systems amazing. I knew Kenny Carter from Vanderbilt, he recruited my older son so it was good speaking with him again. There were some minor scurmishes in the one on ones but thats just competin. As to the players, the write ups that hit the internet today were consistent in who the stars were. There were about 200 in total there and just about everyone there was a very good player.

I like UT football along with a few other SEC teams, but I really like Ed Orgeron as a D coach. I can only hope that my kid has a coach like him someday.
