Yeah, I think it was 99'. He did it b/c he wasn't going to play much behind Henry and Lewis. I think it worked out pretty well for Stephens :question:

Counterpoint (to the doubters): Why would a troll come around and post some "inside" info that is, other than the possible DB trouble, purely random? People do "know" people, huh? If this stuff is true, props for giving us the scoop!

Wasn't there some inside info also once upon a time that said Mustain was coming to UT, Norm Chou was going to be our new offensive coordinator, among other hairbrain "inside information".


I'm not sure on how you are getting the scoop their Geraldo, I'm skeptical anytime I hear someone on here state that they have "inside information"

I think i might start making a post every now and then and let you know some inside information from the players point of view.......

1) Looks like one of our young promising db's may be on their way out or may be in serious trouble with the team. Don't be surprised if you hear a report on this in the next few days.



It has been more than a few days since this was posted. Anybody heard anything on the young DB?

so much for your "insider" information :crazy: , it has been over a week and nothing has been said about a young DB, better luck next time with your "source" though

No one's information is 100% true all the time. Things change and even the information that you get from the best sources won't pan out all the time.

It will be interesting to see about the DB, but I don't think anything else posted was that out of line with things I have heard elsewhere.

Hey, I'm listening.

No big shock Cutt is on a power trip. It's a known fact he wants to be a head coach (again) before his clock hits midnight. I just hope it won't be at UT.

Swain's info may be the real test here.

As far as saying where our informant is from...hell he could be a cop.

Nice call. I had a feeling this info may be legit.

I was thinking though, doesn't it seem awfully early to be talking redshirt for Swain?

From what little we actually know about this football team due to closed practices, it seams as though Swain has never been healthy. I think that Fulmer compared him to Fred Sanford one time.

If Briscoe and Rogers come on strong, and Slick Shelley turns out to be a talent, it might be a crap shoot for Swain even if he does redshirt. He should want to be healthy to compete with that crop though.

He redshirted to get separation from the other 2 backs. His father dying was a Coincidence

I heard an AD say on a local sports talk show (I'm in FL.) that every school has somebody in the AD who trolls boards...And later on I heard it in an interview with the WV basketball coach.
