On top of having a cannon arm, Tyler is a very calm, cool, collective thinker. He realizes what he needs to do in terms of development to be a 1st round NFL pick and the enormity of cash involved. Nothing impressed me more about Tyler than the interview after Vandy. No excuses, props for Worley and owned up to not performing to his potential. I think Tyler will be back and he has Peyton as an example of how good he can be by staying.

If bray has a Crompton senior year style improvement , no doubt he will be a first round pick. His biggest competition would be Logan Thomas from VT and AJ Mccarron/ It is a very weak QB class to begin with

The offense put up 30+ points in 9 games this season, which includes vs Georgia and South Carolina.

Blaming anyone on the offense, including Tyler, is foolish. They did everything they could to win this year. Not their fault our defense is the worst in UT history, and had one of the worst head coaches in the country.

Bray had the ball in HIS hands to score for the win...5 times this year...

How many times did he score?

Wow he played good against Kentucky. He plays good against all the losers. Lets see him do that against Bama, Florida, Georgia. Anybody that thinks he is a 1st round pick is about as smart as Dooley.

Brays problem is no longer a problem. When he tried to voice an opinion or be a leader he was underminded by his HC. To some degree I want to see what Chaney has with a different HC as well, despite the fact that I think he calls stupid plays but who knows what's said when they have the headsets on. Chaney can put up points, but my problem was the radical play calling on short yardage situations that often times changed the momentum of the game. As much hope that I had for this season, I for one know I became more of a fan and have high hopes and expectations for this program going forward.

This argument makes absolutely no sense. To believe that these games were not won because of Bray is to assume that football is played by one player. Has he missed opportunities? Yes there's no doubt, but it's annoying how people blame him for not winning games where he and the offense were the only reason we had a shot. Had we had a good defense we would hae beaten a team that is now #3 in the nation in UGA. Had we not had a fumble and dropped interception late in Miss St game then we probably would have beaten them.

Now he's messed up but he has tried his hardest to overcome not only the opposing team but his own defense so he deserves some credit.

Considering Kiper had him as the #2 QB... its a fair arguement

#2 Junior QB.... and that was behind VT's Logan Thomas. Anyone who has actually watched Logan Thomas play this year knows that anyone who would put him #1 on any list hasn't seen him play. Therefore, I would take anything Kiper says at this point with a grain of salt.

That said, I really hope Tyler Bray leaves. We will be a much better team with his attitude out of the locker room and no longer poisoning us.

A good D may or may not have helped Bray. A good D would mean less passes for Bray and completion percentage is not his strong suit. He doesn't know how to read a D pre-snap to check out of a play, so they took it on themselves to handle with the no-huddle. He gets skittish if a defender gets near him. He's not good at all on the move. Pressure up the middle causes him to glide backwards and throw off his back foot. He cost the team a couple of games last season and this with turnovers.

Some of that can be corrected if he will get over himself, realize he has a lot to learn, and get to work. If not - move on.
