Clemson has played 8 gamesThose numbers don't even match up. If you add up opponents wins and losses,
Clemson's opponents have played 57 games
TN opponents have played 52 games
GA opponents have played 51 games
AL opponents have played 50 games
MI opponents have played 47 games
OSU opponents have played 46 games
How have Clemson's opponents played 11 more games than OSU? Something does not sound right with these numbers. If they are correct, sure your opponents will have more wins if they played a bunch more games. And as stated above, SOS makes a big difference on the win column.

I'm looking at the ESPN chart. OSU 81 SOS - 1 GC - 6 SOR. UT 16 SOS - 2 GC - 1 SOR. I don't know the equation they use to rank OSU over UT with these data points. This is proof FPI is a garbage number. Can anyone come up with a formula that used these data points and ranks OSU above UT? This doesn't make common or mathematical sense.Espn fpi has the good guys with the #1 strength of record. Which is a metrics of who you have beat. Clemson is 2
