For anyone who denigrates Tennessee's 2022 SOS

Those numbers don't even match up. If you add up opponents wins and losses,
Clemson's opponents have played 57 games
TN opponents have played 52 games
GA opponents have played 51 games
AL opponents have played 50 games
MI opponents have played 47 games
OSU opponents have played 46 games

How have Clemson's opponents played 11 more games than OSU? Something does not sound right with these numbers. If they are correct, sure your opponents will have more wins if they played a bunch more games. And as stated above, SOS makes a big difference on the win column.

NCAA College Football Strength of Schedule Rankings & Ratings

I can't for the life of me see where this ranking could possibly come from. Ohio State's schedule is ranked in the 80s from most sources I've seen, no way it's 13th. They are heading into week 9 with only one road game played, no games against the current top 25, and Toledo at 5-2 has the best record of the tin cans they've played.

Clemson has played 8 games

That the real fact. He's having Fun with math by comparing records of Clemson's 8 opponents to Vols 7 opponents. Adding UK in we're 35-24

But like someone said sos is a better measurement

I'm looking at the ESPN chart. OSU 81 SOS - 1 GC - 6 SOR. UT 16 SOS - 2 GC - 1 SOR. I don't know the equation they use to rank OSU over UT with these data points. This is proof FPI is a garbage number. Can anyone come up with a formula that used these data points and ranks OSU above UT? This doesn't make common or mathematical sense.
