Until they solve the live sports problem, I could never go the "free tv" route. I love my Netflix and would drop my directv bill in a heartbeat but I have to have my live sports. If anyone has an answer to this I would love to hear it.

My internet provider in not on the ESPN3 list so that option is out.

I seems there should be an internet service where you can pay a fee for the season and stream as many games as you want. The only thing I can think of is that ESPN and other networks have contracts with cable providers that prevent that. I hate cable providers.

For OTA people who also have Internet access, there are alternate means, mainly game to game. I'm still looking for a way to communicate this without providers seeing it and instituting shutdown or forcing the paying of exorbitant fees. They do mine forums and other online sources for such information. Most folks unintentionally help them by posting the info. I can tell you that if you doggedly hunt the web as I did, you will find them. Can't say more without giving up info to the providers. I think I'm going to point blank ask 1-2 of them if there's a way to share without having providers being able to close them down or force some fee structure. If so, I'll just post the info here.

If you're football hungry and not overly picky about what teams to watch, here's something I came across.

As some know, I have a ROKU 2. While exploring the myriad free channels, I came across 8Octave which has a ton of various channels, so many I won't even try listing any of them. However, one is in the SPORTS segment, sub-segment VARSITY. It features highlights of players (Varsityhighlights.TV) which might give some of you armchair recruiters some fun during our summer Vols drought.

roku wont have any SEC N games --- so no football for you
