He will recruit with Saban, Muschamp, Miles, Spurrier...? Gundy has the public perception that he is a damn clown.

Sure. Remember that U. Meyer, Miles, Saban, and Richt never recruited in the SEC until they were actually coaching in the SEC.

How does he have a public perception as a clown? Because he stood up for one of his players over a false report that was printed in a newspaper?

I've tried to stay as positive as possible, but all this rejection from lower quality schools is making it pretty clear that were not the job we used to be. Not saying a Fedora or Golden wouldn't win, but the SEC is a murderers row of coaching w/ our new coach likely needing to beat the likes of Spurrier, Richt, Muschamp, and Franklin just to be considered competitive. And that's not even taking into account the Saban and Miles juggernauts. It's hard to maintain optimism at this point...

I have no idea who the new coach is going to be but I really hope he can get our recruits excited. Seems like some of the guys are starting to look around.

Well, we don't like it when the coach throws the players under the bus, so what do we want then? I personally like the Gundy approach myself.

Nick Saban wasn't announced at Alabama until January 3rd...can you imagine what this board will look like by then!?!?

A lot of posters need to step back from the ledge!! Based on what I have read on this site many have gone off the deep end regarding this whole coach search process. Y'all act like we're sinking faster than the Titanic. When done correctly this process takes time. Please take an anxiolytic(i.e. valium, xanax, ativan) and relax things will workout. For goodness sake we are the University of Tennessee we will be restored.

I'm willing to bet 75% on here don't know what anxiolysis is. Not saying, but just saying.

Well I'm glad you're the all-knowing sage that corrected him.

Child, please.

By saying that he didn't know what was going to happen is different than me telling him I did.

I did not say that. Idiot

You quoted a fool (Chad Johnson) at the end of your post. Nice job :good!:
