Well either you are trolling or you really, really don't understand fandom. Sure bandwagon fans only follow a team when it is going well and switch allegiances when it is not.

However, more committed fans stick with a team through thick and thin and get frustrated, worried, etc. during down phases.

So, yes there are criticisms of Holly but it amazes me that some get the vapors over this fact; as though it just never happens that coaches anywhere else come under pressure when teams are not performing well.

For my own take, I have been adamant that Holly and Company warranted supported for posting a pretty good record in their first three years given the circumstances around CPS and the crushing injury problems.

This year, to this point, presents a worrisome drop-off in almost all phase of LV basketball and it is clear that something needs to change. Realistically, I think the first step will be (or should be) for Holly to hire a new slate of assistants and see if some new ideas and voices can get things going in a more positive direction. But if things don't dramatically turn around by next year, I see no way the University of Tennessee can stay with her, despite her history of long term loyalty.

But in the end, I, like most on this board (I believe), will still support the team. So you are free to go off and support the Mocs all you want (I bet they even have a fan board- Go get em! Reno Tony)

So many people on this site are crucifying Holly and the team it only seemed natural to offer another option. I've always liked TENN and P.S. She had the dedication, and demanded it from her players, that it takes to make a team great. So it's tough watching them struggle this year and unfortunately it looks like it's a sign of times to come.

You really must be reading a different board than I am. I'm waiting to read that 3000 fans with pitchforks, axes and torches were heading for Holly's house. I only read a few boards and I have never seen the hatred spewed toward a head coach as I have here. There are a lot of strong fans here that defend the coach and player... and that's great. Sometimes giving people an option makes them appreciate what they have. And I will check out the Mocs to see if they have a fan board. Have a blessed day.

You should really read responses to you posts a little more clearly. You make assumptions about others by the way you would respond or think. I think I'll end this waste of your time and mine.

It would certainly be interesting. But only if they had all the players since their freshman years.

I would think only a month of practices with the coaches reversed and Geno would lead our team of all-stars to the win.

I think the results would stick with the coaches. You reverse the coaches; you reverse the results.

With Geno there is only one possible loss on our schedule... ND. And we would have been spared many of the close calls to inferior opponents.

"in my opinion", we do not have a good coaching staff.
What "in my opinion" this is based on is the product that is presented on the floor.

:rock: Kyra Elzy is the best thing on the whole coaching staff...defense, defense, defense. The LV forced 24 turnovers on defense against Vanderbilt only because of the pressure defense of Kyra Elzy. The defense that Kentucky plays is a total reflection of Kyra Elzy. Dean Lockwood has in the past been very good for the total team. The changing moving offense played against Vanderbilt is Lockwood. Cooper finally came to life again last night...DeShields has far too many turnovers every game.:hi:

Why on earth would any decent coach from a good program come to TENN? Because they use to be an excellent program a decade ago? Find some mid level program and lure the coach away from their team.

How old are you? Crocodile tears for Holly.... from a statement that top level coaches wouldn't consider leaving their program for TENN? You seriously need someone to help you comprehend another person's posts. But I will admit... you are amusing.... kind of like a puppy chasing it's own tail.
