Players don't scheme the O and D. Players do not come up with gameplans. Players do not decide who starts or plays. Players do not call plays.
It is early in Jones' tenure at UT so there is still plenty of time for him to prove he can coach with the big boys. But in these first two big games... he and his staff have come up wanting. Coaches all over college football find ways to give their QB's and WR's "easy" throws and catches. UF was doing that when the busted that big TD pass. Repeatedly we've seen UT's QB throwing into tight coverage. Either he is not reading the D correctly or throwing on time or else the design of the play isn't getting anyone open... all of those are coaching issues.
