Uga is about the same caliber team as us. Yet they have had the same coaching staff in place for years, have had great recruiting, and have a fourth year starter at qb. We have none of the above. All of which means we should be pretty optimistic about about the future.

Georgia is a much better team than us. Only injuries have brought them down. They just do not have a DC worth a flip.

for the record Ga fans have been trying to get rid of Granthem for the last year and a half.


PS Duke going to upset Miami....happy for coach Cut

right on if u believe this/then put the bottle down.. if this.staff loses to vandy u sunshine sheep better
hide no recruiting ranking will repair a loss next week..

no freaking excuses. i will take a bowl game n great rec class but 5 wins no way..

btw guz at auburn is a better coach .. based on bis record ytd..

UGA is only down 13 in 4th on the road. What was our score with Auburn 4th and at HOME? And UGA just scored one score game.

Ya. I retract everything I said here. I started the thread because it looked like uga was going to get blown out. Now they're right back in it.

They're completely reactionary and call for Todd Grantham and Mike Bobo's heads on a quarter by quarter basis. It's been that way for several years.

In reality, they weren't. They were ranked there after beating LSU but the lost Gurley. Early in the UT game they lost Marshall and a receiver. The team that walked out of Neyland (the team that scored the last 10 points of the game) with a W was not the #6 in the country as much as some of the posters like to claim.

If they want to claim that then they need to acknowledge that Mizzou and Vandy beat that same team.

He means in a historic sense...we have a slightly better tradition than uga in terms of SEC championships, wins, etc. They do have a recruiting advantage, but so far Butch is nullifying that.

He is saying give it time and we can at least be as good as uga, which is not terrible.

The problem is that some fans think every year should be an NC just because bammer is doing it by cheating their arses off.

Still not sure if serious. Last year that defense had enough talent to be elite, they were far from it. We put up 44 (although our defense forced some turnovers somehow that game).

And the SEC championship game against Alabama was one of the worst defensive game plans I have ever seen from someone not named Sal Sunseri.
