There is quite a bit of smoke, especially in the last few days, to ignore it all

The possibility of getting Richmond is great to me BUT what I worry about is taking his commitment, possibly giving UGA some ammo to use against us with Allen and then getting left high and dry by DR on NSD. That said I'm sure the staff knows what is going on with both situations and will handle it well regardless.

I wouldn't ignore it either. It's just you might be dealing with money and a kid that doesn't know what he wants or needs and he's feeling that hole with attention.

I think what the staff is more worried about than anything is the impermissible benefits that have came to this kid from other schools.

Benefits or not - I think the dust has settled a little since he was recruiting for Ole Miss while visiting here. Our class has really, really jumped in stature, while the Ole Miss class has leveled out or dropped. It is somewhat a kin to the Florida 5 stars suddenly having an interest in Auburn. He loves Coach Jones - he likes a lot of our commits - we are a hot, hot team with a ton of upward momentum. He may very well choose Ole Miss but if he does he will definitely be second guessing his decision at some point, imo. If I wasn't biased and weren't wearing Orange blinders/glasses - I think Tennessee's success over the next 4 years will be much better than that of Ole Miss. To quantify that I would say about 35 to 13 better. ( Number of 4 and 5 stars in the 14 and 15 classes. ) I am fine if he comes and fine if he doesn't at this point -- his loss if he doesn't - confident Butch will get us one better to take his place.
