Yes I know we're down but I thought I'd post this gem from Vandymania from a genius Vandy fan:

"Historically Vanderbilt for years beat UT. It has only been since the 60s that the team has struggled."

LOL...."only" been since the 60s? So only 50 years?

Now isn't really the best time for Tennessee fans to be laughing at Vanderbilt.

It's like bragging for years to your cousin that you're a better golfer than he is, yet it was never really all that important to your cousin to be good at golf, but over the last couple of years your cousin has actually been just as good as or better than you.

Probably best just not to say anything about it, save embarrassment.

Stop being a p****. Vandy always has and always will suck. Just because we suck now doesn't make their sucking any better .

Vandy isn't even worth talking smack over. Tennessee beating Vanderbilt is just something that should happen.

A smaller, academically-focused private school should lose to the larger, public, in-state school that puts so much more money and focus into athletics over long periods of time. So what?

Vandy makes me sick...And I go to college literally right down the road from them. James Franklin's freaking face is plastered on billboards all over the place here in Nashville. I don't know how I'd stomach a loss to them...:pukeb:

No reason for Vol fans NOT to take over dudleyville again this year. I'll be there this Saturday night, though the Vols are struggling. Let's keep rubbing their faces in it.

The only question is this: do we have enough offensive fire power to overcome our poor defense and coaching? It will be interesting to see.

From what I am reading, Vanderbilt is now a 4-point favorite. What does it mean when the point margin increases as the week goes on?
