I never expected a miracle season. I did expect a bigger margin today, but I dont think I'm shocked.

I believe so. But he is going to need to bring in talent first.

This team is a big mess of second teamers, mostly.

No running backs. No QBs. No d lineman. No experienced WRs. It is atrocious.

I think everything about this team would look better if we had basic QB play .

The running lanes open up

The defense is off the field if we are converting drives and their noted depth issues are not as glaring

All I can say with that football analysis I sure wish you were a head coach in the SEC and Tennessee played you every week. "No running backs" and "no d lineman"????

You are correct. It is the most damaging position on the field to be weak at.

I hope you aren't excusing the offensive gameplans we've seen. The 2nd half today was awful. If someone shows up and is too stupid to drop the LBs a step and have them all just swarm our lone back, making them unblockable, they are damn sure going to have it down for the second half. Rather than adjust the run, we keep it rolling and had Worley try to make plays in 3 rd and 8. Then, we just abandon run altogether.

Had a pretty good running game, but other than that, it was pathetic! Looks like Pig Howard is the next "I should be a stud but Im an underachiever" Vol badge. Yes, I did expect to go 3-2 at this point, BUT I did expect a better grade of CFB! Its almost as if the Ghost of Derek Dooley is still on the sidelines! If we had lost to S Alabama, it would have been rock bottom of all rock bottom. This staff looks like they are in over their heads.

Dude, the ghost of Derek Dooley IS still on the sidelines! He had three years to inject his personality into this program. It will take more than 5 weeks to purge it.

i didn't understand why they gave up on the run so much,if they were trying to get Worley more experience at more passing plays,it didn't work well

Not had a QB that could function under pressure since Peyton and before that TEE

My favorite was the QB scrambling for 15 yards against a zone defense. 3 rd or 4th down, can't remember.

Damn we are slow everywhere.

I thought we would be 6-6 this year, but I'm not sure if we can beat Mizzou, Vandy, or even UK. This could be our last win all season.
