What is your forecast for the economy for the next 24 months with the current financial crisis? Will it get resolved? Will Obama make a misstep, etc?

by the 2010 elections, the economy will be worse and the democrats will still be blaming it on 8 years of failed Bush policies.

real estate will start moving soon and do so quickly. The pricing has just gotten right. It's the single largest and most diverse market in our economy. Just returning to even keel is a huge boon.

I really hope your right. BTW what's your opinion of talking heads like Jim Kramer, Bob Brinker, etc? Anyone you consider a good prognosticator?

I'm starting to see that. Two houses on my street sold within weeks of each other. They were on the market less then month and a half.

Kramer is a pure momentum guy. I wouldn't follow his advice ever. he's been dead wrong so many times it's not even funny. no opinion on brinker. Art Cashin on CNBC is very good as is that chick hedge fund manager on fast money (don't remember her name).

Anybody still think those won't be a severe Recession now? I'm not sure in 24 months we will be out of it.

Karen Finerman.

Kramer and Macke are 'for entertainment purposes only'.

Obama has been in office 9 days and you already blame him for the recession?

You have trouble with this kind of stuff don't you.

I did not blame Obama for what has happened. The poll is about the future, not the past. If people felt his policies and ideas would bare fruit then the poll of their opinion on the future of the economy would say so. It says they feel not so great about his ideas.

Again, he's been in office 9 days and you think people have already begun to lose faith in him?

The results of this poll would have been the same 2 months ago. Obama's time in office is inconsequential.
