Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe that he graduated and therefore is not allowed to coach.

As I understand it, he has not yet received his college degree and therefore is not qualified to coach in D1. I would like to see him get his degree and believe he would be an outstanding coach.

Fullback in 94-97 I believe. May have missed spelled his name. He played HS ball in North Carolina. He ran a 4.38 forty as a fullback, but came in as a running back.

Why did Dooley get rid of him ?

Smith and the D.C. did not get along. I could see them arguing on the sidelines during games.... Personality conflict, so rather than lose the D.C., who left at the seasons end anyway, Dooley chose to get rid of Smith.
