That's interesting. It's good to know that an AD at Kansas State knows who our coach is and is telling everyone so our AD doesn't have to. :rolleyes:

Look I want Gruden as much as the next guy - but are you guys seriously complaining about Stoops?

And Lane Kiffin had a large home in Tennessee. If Stoops wants to leave a house will not be the deciding factor.

For him to come here we would have to pay in the 6 million range he can buy a new house.

Could it be said Gruden has a mansion in Florida so he would never move to East Tennessee?

I'm not complaining one bit about Stoops...he's heck-of-a-coach and his record proves it. I just tend to reside in Realville

There is no reason or anything for Stoops to gain by leaving...Makes absolutely no sense...That is HIS program...These are nothing more than made up silly rumors...Believe them if you want.

Ok here is my I know a guy who knows a guy story.

A few weeks ago. A fellow I know that works security at the airport, struck up a conversation with Thunder Thorton. He ask Mr. Thorton what's going on at UT. He went on to say it was just a matter of time with the Dooley firing. Mr. Thorton said a name to watch out for was Stoops and that there was mutual interest last time, but something in Stoop's contract prevented it.

Now the guy that works at the airport is an older man, not claiming this is fact. Just passing it along.

I can agree with this I cannot see him leaving unless he is offered a large pay bump.

I will say this. He doesn't know anything. Hart is not going to sit here and tell an AD from another school his plans. If you think that then go ahead but I will think you are not very bright.

I don't really think he is coming here but there is a lot of rumors that he is not real happy with his bosses at oklahoma. That is a good reason to leave a job.
