Ok here is my I know a guy who knows a guy story.
A few weeks ago. A fellow I know that works security at the airport, struck up a conversation with Thunder Thorton. He ask Mr. Thorton what's going on at UT. He went on to say it was just a matter of time with the Dooley firing. Mr. Thorton said a name to watch out for was Stoops and that there was mutual interest last time, but something in Stoop's contract prevented it.
Now the guy that works at the airport is an older man, not claiming this is fact. Just passing it along.
