Former Vol Juwan Mitchell dismissed from team at ASU

He and Banks were a difficult pair in the LB room last year. Coaches didn’t want either back.
I think they mixed it up at least a time or two when JM got here. Apparently, Banks told him he was soft and wouldn’t have played under Pruitt…LOL.

There were always rumors here and on VolTwitter that he was something of a malcontent, especially after he left here despite being an OK player and getting a lot of playing time.

Other than at QB, guys who transfer multiple times despite getting playing time at the prior schools is a pretty big red flag.

Agree

ASU took a look at him and realized putting up with him wasn’t worth it. Vols were paper thin at LB or it would have happened here

It’s guys like this that will wake up one day, be 40 or 45 years old and likely realize they were absolutely talented enough to go far, but their approach and attitude ruined their opportunity for them. That, or they’ll blame everyone and everything other than themselves the rest of their life.

"... Juwan Mitchell. They call him JuJu ..." - ESPN Announcer

Literally nobody that I ever heard called him JuJu.

Meh - college football was the end of the line for him. Dude wasn’t sniffing sundays. Maybe could have played a few years of arena ball or one of these other leagues where they don’t get paid nearly enough to wreck their bodies.

More likely place blame elsewhere. Don’t know many folks who sabotaged their lives and take responsibility for it.

Guess we are lucky they recruited over him and he transferred. Almost as if they knew this was going to happen some time.
