I didn't know McLaren was using Hamilton as their barometer of success. I would assume they would compare themselves to other teams.

I don't think Jenson is the issue. That car is just slow. It doesn't even seems to have any strengths. Even some of the old so-so cars from year's past would have a strength in some area.

that would be interesting to see. i doubt red bull would ever really do it because i'm sure their penalty would be much worse than what mercedes got just over the principle of opening defying the FIA. that would end up opening a whole other **** storm no matter if they got the same penalty or a worse one.
