Forum leader volunteers?

Not something I like myself, but NASCAR is still the biggest drawing American sport, and if you add in all the other levels/ types of car & truck racing you're talking a serious hunk of America.

The fact that Sterling Marlin is good enough that even I've heard of him and that he's a huge Vol fan doesn't hurt the possible ways of doing idea either.

VolChic may be too recent to the board to be named a moderator for a while (just as my own as yet unidentifiable mental disorder makes me a questionable candidate for anything but What My Voices Said Today) but Motorsports is a forum idea with a big potential fan-base.

Another would be X-sports.

I suggest trying out an "Other Sports" forum. That way you get not only a place for any big deal in sports (Olympics, World Series, International Lithuanian Titty-Twister Competition) but a kind of trying-ground for potential candidates for their own forum- A sort've "If they come, I will build it" more practical approach.

Nice...I was in a box on turn 4. Not the way I usually like to watch the race though. I like to be on the front stretch not more than 20 rows up. It is nice at Charlotte down there because you can still see the whole track. The box was great though-free tix, free beer and free food. The finishing order really sucked though! My man Casey Kahne would have no luck at all if he did not have bad luck and Tony finished descent but never really had the car he needed.

I love the front stretch at Charlotte too. We were up higher than I've ever sat before. I loved the view!!!! Gonna try and sit there everytime!!!!

My main man(Jeremy Mayfield) had a crappy night. :flush: and then my second fave(Kasey) had a bad night. So needless to say I wasn't a happy race fan.

I'm thinking about going to Atlanta next weekend but I'm not sure yet.
