For all of those who have been saying we need more than 2 parties, here's another option.

The group cites issues including guns, climate change and abortion as those that could benefit from a moderate approach. The new party will also advocate ranked-choice voting and open primaries, the end of gerrymandering, and nationwide protection for voting rights.

First thing we need are term limits. A third party will fill up with career politicians and we will be right back where we are. The only thing that the 3rd party would do then is create gridlock. That is probably the best thing that could come out of it.

I’ll give them credit for trying, but we need a good alternative not just another option.

Right. And a party started by a guy who's platform was a guaranteed basic income provided by the government will be 'legitimate'. Gee I wonder where his support will come from.

We do have term limits..every time we vote. But the primary process is rigged with money by the parties. Almost circular logic. And the 3rd Party would be the same way.

No we don't. Those are not term limits, and frankly that tired old saw gets old. It's why we will have the likes of AOC until long after I'm dead. They are all herpes because people are basically too lazy and too risk averse to try someone new.

I still say inter party reform is the best way. It is proven method by the Dems, who are now a socialist party. Let them go hell bent for leather screaming for vengeance radical left and the centrists will join the Repubs as they already are.

No, clown. What we have works just fine. Your pathetic cities will overrun the rest of the country population wise soon enough. Probably within the next 2 presidential cycles and then you will be able to install whatever idiot you want just by shear size of the population centers.
