Foster Farms Bowl: Utes vs Hoosiers FOX

I've always felt that it was more "Because you're Indiana, you're never going to be able to recruit (defensive) talent."

Maybe, but that was classic Indiana.

They can possibly put the game away with a TD last drive, but need to at least get a FG, and can't. So Utah just needs a FG which they get, but Indiana does have plenty of time.

Only they give up a huge sack on first down, then stupidly don't spike it after they get the first down with 22 seconds left.

That last drive was a clusterf that sums up Indiana football. Although as I said, even if they got into FG range, I'd bet money he would missed anyway.

26 years now without a bowl win.

Their schedule next season at least seemingly sets up for another chance at one, presuming the coaching change doesn't result in a massive falloff compared to the last few years.

It's kind of been an issue for them the last few years. Under Wilson, the two or 3 seasons prior to this one having saw them having one of the best offenses (statistically) at the FBS level but also the worst (or almost statistically worst) defense at the FBS level.

They were regularly losing games because they could score 28-35-40 points against teams, but regardless of the offense, their defense couldn't stop their opponent enough for the win.

Unfortunately, sounds a lot like Tennessee this year!

The outcome was justice. Indiana DBs were getting away with murder. The one play where the DB was tugging on the Ute's jersey from behind literally the whole 25 yard route and they picked up the flag...I don't get it.
