Four to Six SEC Teams in Champ Series

UCLA gets Oregon in the WCWS and Oregon took two of three from UCLA this season including a 10-0 run rule. The WCWS match ups will be two SEC match ups, one PAC-12 match up, and an SEC-Big 10 match up.

This assumes LSU and UCLA advance.

Auburn might be my darkhorse because they hit so well..but 4 of the WCWS teams average nearly 8 runs per game Michigan Auburn, UCLA, and Oregon

If LSU wins out and UCLA hold onto its lead all 8 top seeds will have won. That in itself is amazing and the first round games have 1-8, 2-7 3-6 and 4-5/ Do TN has to start with Florida. and the way the series is played losing that first game adds extra games to get back into the possibility of winning.

If we make it by Florida we get the winner of the Mich/Aub game. Tough row to hoe.

Looks like 5 SEC teams in, assuming lsu wins and they've got a big lead in the 5th. Three lost--but kentucky had to play another SEC team. Stout.

It's a pretty strong and even bunch of teams in the championship tourney, it would appear. The Vols will have to hit a lot better than they have over the last few weeks to advance. We have scratched out a lot of wins in low-scoring games, and are surely pressing our luck. We beat fsu with 2 runs on three hits; I very much doubt that's going to cut it from here on. The first game, as in any post-season tourney, is h-u-g-e.
