Hey I know the truth may hurt but you'll be ok just keep your chin up.

doesn't hurt me at all since the only reason I watch either channel is for their comedic value. It just tells me that your starting point is way farther left than you'll adimt

Bro, there is no way that is true. Fox has had 2 hour long programs in the last year that were hosted by civil libertarians. They're everything that democrats claim to be socially. I don't see that variety of programming on any other news network.

Even MSNBC doesn't have civil libertarians. The closest thing they got is Maddow, and she'll sacrifice liberty for security in a heart beat.

And Msnbc has ex gop congressman joe scarborough(who represented arguably the most conservative part of Florida) host a DAILY 3 hour show Every weekday morning and as I said before Msnbc never claimed to be FAIR and Balanced like fnc.

That for me is the clincher right there. Fox actively touts a conservative agenda and a particular political party, relish in antagonizing everyone else, and their label is "fair and balanced? Meh, I guess its working for them.

For now.

On every topic, they have a democrat and a republican on there supporting their view. I'd call that pretty fair and balance in comparison to MSNBC. Good luck finding both sides of the issue on MSNBC primetime.

I yearn for the day when media outlets once again openly own their biases. Nobody is unbiased, but they convince many in their audience that they are. I don't think this is a good thing.

Watching Fox News is not mandatory. You can choose not to watch. Not making this up.

Have you tried that yet?

No I'm saying fox is more to the right than msnbc is to the left and as I said before msnbc has never claimed to be fair and balanced unlike another channel that seems to be so popular on the vol nation pol board.

I couldn't disagree more about the degree of bias. Perhaps they are on equal footing but to suggest MSNBC is less biased because they have a show with Joe Scarbrough just doesn't hold water.

The slogans are meaningless in determining degree of bias.

I would imagine throughout the day, Fox has as many or more dissenting voices represented than MSNBC does. Still both are biased

Your hate for Fox blinds you LG. It's all about perspective. I believe Obama is a muslim sympathizer. He bends over backwards not to offend to offend muslims. To me, that is a sympathizer.

More than Romney being a murderer, or bankrupting healthy companies for his own profit or hasn't paid taxes?

The facts are that Romney took investments to start Bain Capital from men he believed were connected to death squads in Central America. When he made huge profits with that money and other money borrowed, he paid those men with that money. Does that make him a murderer? I don't think so, but he was thick as thieves with them. Romney did use their money to buy financially viable American companies and transfer money out of them into his own pockets, until they went bankrupt. That is a fact. Of course the man has paid taxes. The questions are the sources of his income and the rate of his taxes.

What does that have to do with the Fair and Balanced Fox network?

Hey there Lawrence, sorry you had to read my negativity regarding the network you are on.

Are you suggesting that a responsible President of the United States should deliberately offend them, when there is no reason to do so? President Obama is just telling it like it is. What's wrong with that?

Reading comprehension isn't one of your stong points is it?

Actually, it is, but that does not mean that I can make sense out of posts which do not even make good nonsense. I always know when somebody isn't keeping up when he resorts to the reading comprehension line. lol

Kinda like the Senate Majority leader saying Romney sullied the Mormon religion? And while saying sympathizer is a bit strong, his speeches in 09 show his irrational views on Muslims.

Didn't figure this would get a response.

I should have known this thread wasn't "Fair and Balanced"
