After watching Vandy the past 2 weeks..They DO show improvement....Wonder if Franklin's grinning ear to ear like Spurrier......

Getting owned by Georgia and beating a bad Mizzou team without their QB and losing to Florida by 2 touchdowns isn't exactly showing improvement. Vandy is still Vandy.

They've been improving just about week to week.. Something these Vols haven't done.. It's coaching at this point.. You can cry about talent all you want.. There was enough if it on the field last night to beat that team.

U should grow a pair and realize they're improved and we barely beat them in ot last year. Talent edge . Ut. Coaching edge... Massive vandy

Franklin showed fire and improvement in year 1, and never ever blamed lack of talent,youth.injury's etc .. He just kept coaching them up. It was a darn good thing they missed all those field goals . I got Blasted last year when I said he was 5 times a better coach than Dooley. The player love him and play hard for him.

They played Florida a hell of a lot better than we did . I watched the whole game they didn't lack effort like we did.

He's a step up from Dooley, which is pathetic really..

Write it down....we still beat Vandy this year.

I'm ready for Dooley to be gone, but I'm sick of the Franklin worship too. He STILL hasn't won an impressive game yet either.

We were extremely lucky that a dumb azz blocked a player in the back who was away from the play near end of regulation. Rodgers threw a strike to put them in 1st an goal=game over if not for Vandy player's bone head move

Lol. Ok, dude. Franklin got whooped by UF. UT controlled that entire game against UF until Chaney, for some reason, abandoned the run game. That's who I want gone after this season. This ain't the Big 12.

Why would you want Chaney gone but not Dooley? Do you honestly think just replacing coordinators over and over is going to change anything?

I've always loved the "if they hadn't done the things that lost them the game they would've won" argument. Well I hate to tell you bud but they did so they didn't.

James Franklin is one of the few that if given the option I'd rather just keep Dooley.

Chaney was here with Kiffy. The OC is the only spot that hasn't had turnover. Let the man gameplan, but don't let him call the plays. You must not be watching what I'm watching.

And yes, replacing the OC would make a huge difference. We abandon the run-game, every game, and we don't utilize our best players nearly enough.

How many times was Hunter targeted last night? Rivera?

Our offense isn't dynamic. Chaney has no clue how to get JH, Pig, or CP in space.

Franklin is just waiting for the big contract offer possibly at the end of the season. I do not think he will be at Vandy next year, just hope he is not wearing orange!

Well his time is near, no better chance for Vandy to show us what their made of, we will win but it will be a good one.
