There are some similar traits between the two. The biggest difference is Franklin is just a Douche. The way he tweeted about Hurd after he committed, his handling of the media's tough questions, and really just his persona is kind of Douchy(its a word, i made it up)

I could see where Pearl probably got under other fans skin but i think he handled the media better and wasn't such an a**
