Franklin To Vandie When PSU Fires Him?

Do you all think Vandiebuilt will bring back Franklin after he's canned at PSU? I've read tons of fans are already jumping ship on him and the overall opinion is if he goes 7-5 again or even 8-4, they are done with him.

Could be a situation where Franklin is left empty handed and desperate and obviously Vandie would be desperate as hell to get him back......

I doubt a single one of the thirteen Vandy fans would ever admit they would take him back.

Wherever he goes he wont get paid near as much, as PSU overpaid him

I had a Vandie fan tell me earlier in the week that Shoop was interested in the Vandie job when Franklin bailed out because of the rape case and his time being up with the East so poorly down......but Vandie didn't want Shoop....

If that's true, may he never forget...

Oh, I think every single one of them in the bottom of their hearts want him back.

I just don't think most would admit it. Prideful, butthurt bunch they are. They still routinely start a "POACH Franklin" thread over on VM.

They're obsessed with him, and hate themselves for it.

He may not have a choice but to go back.....and they would suck too....no more Bobby Johnson kids to ride the coattail of and the East is much better....at least Tennessee being MUCH improved....

It would be interesting to see Franklin Coach Vanderbilt again in the future. This time Butch would have his number.

1) No they won't. I get you want UT to beat him by 60, but he burned too many bridges there (especially with the way he left and the issue with the player rapes) for them to ever even remotely consider taking him back. (The Falcons might even be more likely to sign Petrino to another contract, which also wouldn't happen.

2)It really not as much that the general fans jumping ship that determines his career or not, but rather it's the school's high-level/powered boosters' opinions of him that will determine whether or not he keeps a job there.

Bobby Johnson retired right before the 2010 season.

I think he only had one of Johnson's classes
