I'm seriously thinking about recording the game.. leaving the phone so I don’t end up here, and staying away from anyone who could mess it up for me... could be back home by 6pm to watch the recording... so many variables that could mess it up though 😂😂

Family and I decided to head toward Townsend/Walland area midweek to prep for the game by enjoying the fall colors, Tuckaleechee Caverns, Smoky Mountain Parkway and some local area grub and bourbon. The beast needs to be taken on a road trip now and again.

You and me both! I am not even close to being ready to hit the hay. I have a feeling I’ll have to start the morning out with a good breakfast and then some hot apple cider and some ole smoky salty caramel. Get the day started on the right foot. #GBO

I could easily live vicariously through many of your adventurous plans. Truth is it is just me in the recliner appreciating the big screen and surround sound. Maybe the cat drops in for a snug. Maybe a text comes in from a bud.

Upon kickoff, all the hot coeds, the trays full of food, beer and drugs, the drunk buddies, the entire open bar, it all evaporates into a 3rd down conversion, a penalty under protest, a memory of some Arkansas QB fumbling in '98. It all appears as memories and a good lifetime of them. College football is a very special part of life that allows us all to feel a little more alive on Saturdays.

Thank God for it.

Brought the kids to the Wilderness water park for the weekend. Got a villa with a pool table/man cave. My 4 year old son already told my wife “no women allowed in here!” We’ve staked our territory and that’s where we’ll be watching the game after hitting the park in the morning. Go Vols!
