Ever try the Angels Envy?
Keep eyeing it...might pull the trigger soon.

Friend got gifted that 18yr Knob Creek. Told him I need to be there when he cracks that open!!!
Angels is pretty good. No complaints. Not one of my go to's but still a nice pour.

Parlor Doughuts for breakfast. Then watching College Gameday and never leaving the couch till late games are over.
*unless we win then I’ll def leave couch.
I've notified the Pentagon that all those UFOs in the upper atmosphere over Knoxville tomorrow will just be Vol football fans leaping from their couches.

Just leaving the Dyersburg/Covington game. Wow! Dyersburg was down 24-10, cane storming back, and went for two and won it. 😱💪😍

Went to our Indian spot for dinner tonight. Bout to watch Lone Survivor. I’ll be on toddler duty all morning, i.e. cooking breakfast while watching game day. Then my sis and niece are arriving from Nashville shortly before the game starts. They could care less about the Vols (not sure where my parents failed on that one) so they’re on their own till the game’s over. 🤣🤣🤣

Its my weekend to be off just worked 7 straight night shifts watching game from home. Putting a freschetta pizza in the oven before game starts. Last game I went to Neyland for TN-GA game was 2003 and that was a 41-14 horrible loss.

Crazy schedules this weekend have my family all getting together at Neyland from Nashville. Daughter and son-in-law are leaving in the morning early and tailgating with friends and staying over tomorrow night. Son and daughter-in-law are already in Knoxville and will tailgate with their friends. My wife and I are leaving tomorrow mid-morning and getting to Neyland in time for the Vol Walk. We are all getting together after the game for dinner. Go GBO!!

Spent the night at ER with a kiddo. All is well now. Skipped dinner, not by choice. Hit the Bell late night drive through on the way home. Up at 4:30 to feed chickens. Staying away from all these red and black wearing people down here in Joe-gia. I have the white flag flying, faking a surrender. After all the times we have played so poorly when we should have won I’m simply hoping we play great today. There is not a single, logical reason we should beat them today. We have nothing to gain and they have nothing to lose other than the undefeated streak. If we did win today we still have no reason to brag. It would not be deserved. We are not better than them. We have not played to the level of expectations all season. Vols are overrated I expect Ladd McConkey to get revenge in Neyland this afternoon. Remember how you blasted me last year when I posted how he always wanted to be a Vol but the staff never recruited him?

No one wanted him. You all said he would be a bench warmer on our team. Watch him warm our bench as he burns our secondary’s backside for at least two touchdowns. His whole family is Vol Fans. Not going to be a good day for a Vol in Kirbyville.

For the first time ever before Thanksgiving weekend, I put up our Christmas tree last night. Hopefully it will be a good luck charm today.

Yes, I live down here. Been growing chickens for twenty years. A lot of people complain about how bad it is to be a contract grower. If you do the things you are supposed to do and actually work and manage your farm it’s not bad. We have been blessed beyond measure. God has been good to us. We don’t have a bunch of new green tractors and big trucks and toys (debt).

It’s a good life. I’m recording the game because I’m working on the farm until dark today. Time to get ready for winter. Break is over. Time to get back at it. Go Vols.

I’ll watch anything with Jeri Ryan in it.

I think Bebe Neuwirth is lovely, even today.

I translate Neyland’s maxims to everyday life and do my best to live them.

It's definitely a busy lifestyle, I understand. My wife is actually from Gainesville, the chicken capital 🤣.

Chicken farming, commercially, is interestingly competitive at the corporate level. I have a friend who retired from Aviagen. Her stories depicted an extremely cutthroat business when it came to "breeding stock" and genetics and such.

I had no idea until I met her but that end of the business with pretty secretive barns and valuable flocks of carefully bred birds is fascinating.

It is a tough industry. Been around it on all levels from grower to integrator management and now sale equipment back to processing plants. Definitely a small world as people move around a lot between companies and across the country. You never know who you are going to run into when you walk into a plant. Yes, bio-security is real. With Highly pathogenic bird flu always a threat and several other contagious diseases we don’t take many chances. Enough chicken, lunch is over, time to get some more work finished. Might get to take five to watch first quarter. Georgia fans are very cautious this week. They are expecting the meltdown game to occur at anytime. Plus, they don’t know which Tennessee team is going to show up. We need four quarters of disciplined, mistake free football to have a chance. Our lines are vulnerable and secondary is horrible right now. Go Vols. I hate barking dawgs.
