Any good high school games in East Tennessee tonight? I imagine there are some good matchups but I haven't had a chance to look yet.

Busy Vol weekend with the basketball game tonight at 9:00 and the football game tomorrow afternoon.

Getting ready to watch the new Expendables movie. Just ate tamales, and red beans/rice. Washed it down with ice cold Pepsi.

Went to granddaughters school this morning for a Veteran Day program. Got there and wife didn't bring her purse ..... She's in a wheelchair and its just something extra for me to carry. School wouldn't let us in because she had no ID. Turned around and came back home. Different world we live in since we graduated high school 46 years ago. At least they're trying to keep our kids safe.

Still nice and warm on the Carolina coast. But the cooler temps get here tomorrow. Sitting here with my dog asleep on my lap while I watch Arizona-Duke basketball and pass the time until the Vols play at 9.

In Christiansburg, VA for high school football playoffs. (Daughter is in the band). Tomorrow we will be supporting our son in one act competition here. Hope to be home in time for kickoff.

Cooking chicken tortilla soup for dinner. Had a short day at work (I got a promotion) that I wasn’t expecting. Got lunch at B-dubs with my husband, a great phone conversation with my dad (a fellow VFL) and caught up with a close friend whom I haven’t spoken to in a while. She’s only 21 and getting married to a guy my husband I introduced her to lol. That last part is a whole story for another day. Sigh

Long day of Dr stuff, but home, and ready to be lazy. Was trying to think of something different for dinner tomorrow. A Mexican friend of mine told me last night of a new place, and said it was like authentic Mexican food, not like our normal Mexican restaurants. 3 ladies own it, and they make everything fresh, including the tortillas. I'm looking forward to trying it tomorrow after the first swim meet of the year, and watching us beat Missouri!

Radio listening to York Institute vs. Oneida - York up 7-0 already. And just recovered another Oneida turnover. And we’re keeping three grandsons tonight. And another York touchdown. And Vol basketball later.

York now 28-0 mercy rule soon. Best ever undefeated 2A York Dragons
