That’s sad. All that trouble to get there…and nothing. Could no one vouch for you?Went to granddaughters school this morning for a Veteran Day program. Got there and wife didn't bring her purse ..... She's in a wheelchair and its just something extra for me to carry. School wouldn't let us in because she had no ID. Turned around and came back home. Different world we live in since we graduated high school 46 years ago. At least they're trying to keep our kids safe.
Boom!
Any good high school games in East Tennessee tonight? I imagine there are some good matchups but I haven't had a chance to look yet.
Busy Vol weekend with the basketball game tonight at 9:00 and the football game tomorrow afternoon.
Had my ID, Veterans card, everything but I respect that the school stuck to their guns. They said I could go in but not my disabled wife. Not an option as far as I was concerned. These are pre-K up to 5th grade children. The Nashville tragedy at Covenant School is still fresh in many peoples minds. I would probably have been more concerned if they made an exception. That’s sad. All that trouble to get there…and nothing. Could no one vouch for you?
Congratulations on your promotion!!! It’s always good to be recognized for your hard work.Cooking chicken tortilla soup for dinner. Had a short day at work (I got a promotion) that I wasn’t expecting. Got lunch at B-dubs with my husband, a great phone conversation with my dad (a fellow VFL) and caught up with a close friend whom I haven’t spoken to in a while. She’s only 21 and getting married to a guy my husband I introduced her to lol. That last part is a whole story for another day. Sigh
