I can honestly say, as somebody who has never perused much of the message boards of Vol Nation...there are some weird people on here.

And normal people. Like me.

Doctor Who fans. You know, normal people.

Three times I have been anxious the night before a Tennessee football game. Anxious, because I couldn’t sleep because I knew that they had to win.
-The night before the BCS title game
-The night before the 2011 Cincinnati game
-The night before the 2013 Vanderbilt game

Nice to know there’s some normal people out there. Like me.

And weirdos. That includes most of the people that are logged in right now. Also, sort of, I guess, like me.

Since you asked, yes. Yes I was worried about a Cincinnati game and a Vanderbilt game.

I knew Manning and the boys were going to lose to Nebraska. Had no idea how, but I knew LSU was going to win in 2001. And in 2007.

But watching the rebuilding process (the last time was in the late 80s), I could see them turning the corner in 2011. I bought heavily into my believe in Bray, Hunter, Rogers. If I was right, they would be awesome. If I was wrong, they would lose. Because I could see the development of my high school-years area team, Cincinnati.

I was right about that one, and Cincy got clobbered. Hunter got hurt the next week and the season tanked and...well, you know the story.

Completely different story, but same team. It’s like watching a kid riding a bicycle. You can’t do anything about it, but you hope that they don’t fall. And that’s where I am right now. Hoping they beat the everlivin’ crap out of Vanderbilt, like I know they can. But will they?

So...nervous.

Yep. Going to be something happening all 50th anniverseryish today at 2:30 pm on BBCA here in the states. They probably called off work and school over in England. National holiday or something.

When you stated this about Freak I realized my 10 year anniversary of being on this board is approaching. Wow how times flies, and my title still stands based on post count: "The Lurker"!

As an anniversary gift --- Please destroy Candy today gentlemen so I don't have to suffer the tongue lashing from some co-workers here in the mid-state!
