*****Freak's National Signing Day Thread, Live as the commits sign, Feb. 7th, 2018

Smart can’t beat Pruitt. Let them sign, because they are going to wish they hadn’t. Pruitt will show the world with this staff that he will win.

Yes, you have to blame Pruitt. Who else can you blame? Kirby at least finished top 10 with his first class.

UGA want coming off a 4 win season and they already had top 10 class before Richt was fired. Also, way easier to recruit in the state of GA.

That class was well established under Richt. And he also didn't walk into a dumpster fire from the AD catastrophe and horrific coaching search before Phil and JP got there. Not even a close comparison.

We're really about to find out how good this staff is with X's and O's. Doesn't seem like we're going to have a ton of talent on the field the next couple of years.

It’s ashamed that the Tennessee brand has fallen this far. It just goes to show you that the coaches we have are great, and still couldn’t pull guys in. 😔

Hamilton (amateur and a pawn, total lack of situational awareness).

Hart (disruptive, disrespectful and paycheck collector)

Cheek (tone deaf, incompetent, zero understanding or concern of the Tennessee brand).

Haslam (power hungry, unethical, total lack of character, everything else is second to his ego).

These are the people that put us in this position. This will take some time. But thank God we have a true Tennessee man at the helm (Fulmer) and a good ole southern boy football coach that knows the SEC, recruiting and has a resume that doesn’t include CEO of Cliche, Inc., but National Titles defenses that play lights out football

Kirby inherited a top 3 class from Mark Richt and the state of Georgia is loaded with talent. Not to mention that UGA went 9-3 in Richt's final year. Pretty rare situation for a new coach to inherit.

While I would have to somewhat agree with you, Mark Richt didn't leave that program in nearly the disaster our last 3 coaches did to ours.

yea now fla and bama will snatch our other hopefuls

Hate to say this, but I fully expect JJ to flip to Bama. ITS was always a hope and prayer. Think he stays home as well. Those two off the board and I don't know what we do other than take guys to fill holes on the roster. Just a dark signing day.

Grad transfer QB target Alex Thompson chooses Marshall over Tennessee...

Really?????? Why would you go to Marshall over UT?

Yes because it makes sense to blame the guy who has been on the job less than 3 months and hasn't coached a game in orange yet.

It really says something about UT when we can be hopeful of a top 15 class when we fail to win a single SEC game this past season. Georgia was in the Natty game this past season. Barely lost to Alabama. His roster has been stacked and took over from a very good coach. We fired dumpster fire Dooley for eventual dumpster fire Butch. Not even close to a comparison.

Already with the excuses I see. A respected coach doesn't get punked like Pruitt did a few minutes ago.
