I'm sure yours will be a mostly peaceful transition. Hopefully, you've left enough time on the preparation continuum to get ready for the game.

My older sister sent UT whiskey glasses, "T" trivets and a wooden snack bowl with snacks for my early Christmas present. Sister-in-law (the one who DIDN'T go to Ohio State) sent us oranges for their Christmas gift. We'll be snacking Big Orange style.

I told my son that his change into checkerboard overalls would be the official transition point. Luckily there will be plenty of similarities between our Christmas party and a pre-game tailgate.

Just returned from a family trip to NYC. Still recovering so my arse is staying home tomorrow. Smoked sausage right out of the smokehouse for breakfast and chili for lunch. Giddy at the thought of it

Almost missed this...wife and I had shopping to go do today to get ready for the Dad, both Brothers, Sister in Law, and Nephew to all come up to West Central Indiana from Bristol and Kentucky for Christmas...first year in our new house and we are beyond excited !!!

They don't get here until Monday, so game time tommorrow will likely be at the VFW where I don't have to twist the Barkeepers arm.too bad to put the game on. Plus they got really great wings and cold, cold beer. Hoping for a huge Tennessee win and show these Big Ten folks how football is played...GO VOLS !!!

I finished shipping today, i only buy for my nieces and nephew. The 3 little nieces are getting Barbie's. The 2 teenagers are at the easy age, they just want cash. Then I bought some new earbuds for myself lol.

Tonight and in the morning I'll be at my niece's high school basketball tournament, and watching the other playoff games.
