Freak's night before the UGA game admittedly off topic thread

This one Freak?

Had not seen that yet. Not a good look for the Texas kid.

You don't remember that. The dude appeared to be a Georgia fan and had errbody all riled up thinking he was serious.

I assumed your post was sarcasm since it's been posted several times this week. :dunno:

Sitting here on the deck having a few Sweetwater IPAs, a Davidoff cigar and listening to The Eagles Hotel California cd.

I like how Butch called this a "monumental recruiting weekend". It sounds like the planning and preparation the staff put into this weekend is above and beyond anything that's been done on the Hill.

A win would top it off nicely

Yes! What's the story? It clearly looks like a dead ball situation where he's trying to injure the Iowa State player.

Not sure if anybody answered you yet but kid took a cheap shot right after a Texas TD. Originally, analyst thought Mack Brown was unaware of what happened and maybe the kid didnt hear the whistle but he was quoted after the game as saying he didn't see anything wrong with it and the kid was giving good effort (paraphrasing)

Wow.

Vegas STILL has Georgia only -10.5, and if there's anything I've learned from following spreads, it's that Vegas usually knows things.

I love my Vols, but let's be honest, that should be way higher than 10.5. So either Vegas is putting a hell of a lot of stock in Todd Gurley (and lack thereof), or there's a lot of Vol fans out in California. Can't decide which one, but that line is just wild.

God, I would love an upset. So much.

Another one of my favorite Butch quotes from this week, when asked if emphasized Neyland's maxims and if he brought any of his own game maxims to the program:

"I don't need any other game maxims, they speak for themselves."

Butch actually had different players come up and explain them in detail to the team and especially the younger players.

It definitely seems like a lower line that most anticipated.

There's a kid on ESPN playing for St. Augustine named Stanley Morgan, unless my ears deceive me.

So the first 5 weeks were just warming up for this weekend?
