I hope everyone is getting ready for a great Christmas. Anyone have any pics of gifts, trees or Christmas lights to post?

What about weird traditions?

Personally, I'm pretty traditional. We open presents in the morning and have family over for an early dinner of Turkey and dressing with all the fixins.

Anyway, I wanted to wish everyone here and their families a Merry Christmas. Cherish the time with family and/or friends and make some great new memories that you will never forget.

Thank you all for choosing to hang out with us here at VolNation. We have some great posters and you guys make this place very special.

Lots of ham to eat and shirts & ties on Christmas Day that I don't need. Happy Christmas VN.

we have about 30 Christmas films that we pull out every year(with a few yearly changes) but we always start with Ernest Saves Christmas(because my wife used to hate it but has grown to like it) and always end with Charlie Brown Christmas

We do it about the same except all the kids get to open 1 present on Christmas Eve. Thanks for creating such a great place for Vol fans and some for the less fortunate who feel they must pull for an inferior team. Thanks again Freak.

I got my PS4 early.

We've bought our daughter more presents than she'll be able to play with and what seems like enough clothes for a lifetime.

I can almost quote the entire movie. It drives my wife my wife nuts. :)

The part where Randy Quaid is talking about the metal plate in his head cracks me up and "Don't forget the rubber sheets and the gerbils." Classic.

Cousin Eddie is awesome.

There are so many classic lines in that movie.

We watch Christmas Vacation every year, and usually several times a year.

And honestly, Elf has become a tradition as well.

We've got a 5 1/2 month-old daughter, so I'm pumped about making some new traditions with her as she gets older. One of them that I'm wanting to start doing is collecting the winter/north pole/Christmas-themed LEGO sets, and beginning this year, build one of the little themed buildings each year and add too the collection, but when she gets older (like, beyond thinking that LEGOs are edible-older), we'll start constructing them together each year as some daddy-daughter time.

When I was a small child we watched the cla-mation movies Santa Clause is Coming to Town, The Year Without a Santa Clause, and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.
