Fred Smith Trying To Buy Off BCS Conferences

If they end up anywhere, it will be the Big East.

Once the Big 12 is done being raided, there will be nothing left to play for. The Big East needs another football program, Memphis basketball is a win for both camps.

Frankly, I would much rather have them in the Big East. If we are going to have to play them every year, I would rather have them in a legitimate conference....than CUSA. It only helps us in the end.

I really don't think the SEC will invite them.

If the SEC did something that stupid, I hope UT leaves to go to the Big 10, 16, 48, or whatever it's going to be now, along with the rest of the teams that matter.

I do not know about anyone else, but anyone who takes it would have to feel like a prostitute doing something dirty that you would probably regret in the morning. After all, we are talking about Memphis State.

I'm sure someone could organize enough Tennesseans to come up with 10 million dollars a year to make sure Memphis is no longer a part of the state. No way the SEC takes this problem child into membership.

Thanks! I will struggle to sleep and voice my opinion forever more now that an internet poster has decided my intelligence level! Thanks again! :good!:
It's a cartoon line. Sorta like saying somebody should pay 10 million bucks a year to make sure Memphis isn't part of the state anymore.

I bet you are from Memphis, any who! I am sure you are a wonderful person; however, Memphis isn't for me, and a lot of people outside of Memphis feel the same! Memphis is not close to a SEC program and never will be.
