I wonder if that poor guy will come back to the board that was telling us all that Fred had the nomination in the bag?

Fred will endorse McCain and hope to be his VP.

I don't think he was ever that pumped to be President; I don't think he'll be a VP but who knows.

I'm so thankful it is over - it was hard to watch. Not to be rude, but I think that McCain will choose a younger running mate who hasn't had cancer if he gets the nomination.

Ohio has different things that are nice but it is literally a different world up here. I miss the overall friendliness of people in general.

As for the comment, I was referring to you being wrong about Thompson being McCain's VP.

I don't mind if you are wrong and rude at the same time.........

Think I'm wrong about that, huh?

McCain has already had to answer a lot of questions about his age ... and he has had cancer. That can make voters a bit uncomfortable. When you pair him with a running mate who is getting on up their in years and battling cancer...I would just think people would really hesitate to pull the lever for that ticket...especially considering the speaker of the house is NANCY PELOSI. :eek:hmy:

In the end, the only thing I am basing this on, is their friendship.

I would be surprised if their friendship can beat out the overwhelming plea of the party leaders ... but then again, if McCain gets the nod...he may just go back to being the maverick they hated for so long.

I don't see how McCain spitting in t he eye of any true conservative for years makes him a maverick, but hey that's just my opinion what do I know. I think Reagan conservatism ISN'T dead... so I'm a bit crazy.

I dunno, with McCain, I get the feeling he will go with what he knows.

I think Huck would be too much of a stretch.

I think Huck would be a good VP for Romney.
