Free Agency Begins

I don't think they will get burned here - aside from losing the 5th round pick. If Haynesworth does not buy-in, he will be released.

I don't really mind, or care, about how the media portrays them. It's pretty obvious they are a very well run organization as evidenced by their success over the last decade or so.

Maybe so but I still hate them. Their last 2 playoff games have been fun to watch.

Everything I have heard is he wants to go to the Jets, he wants to get into some kind of acting I think is what I heard. If he goes to Houston that is going to suck for the rest of us who are fans of other AFC South teams.

Even if they land him it won't matter, they are still the Houston Texans

That team hasn't made the playoffs even once. Not scared of them at all even if they get him.

I don't want to high jack the free agent thread but what are Titans fans expectations this year.

Really depends on three things:

1.) QB
2.) CJ Contract
3.) Defensive help via free agency.

Would love to have Ray Edwards, Barrett Ruud or Kevin Burnett, a DT or S upgrade. Still, looking like another top 10 pick next year.

I think their win column could range anywhere from 5-10. Really don't know what to expect from this team. New HC, new OC, new DC.

Hasselbeck really has some weapons to work with: CJ (pending holdout), Britt (if he can stay out of trouble), Jared Cook, Nate Handsington, etc. I like the potential of the offense, but not sure if they can breakout with first year OC.

The defense might struggle early, but I have really high hopes for Jerry Gray in the long run. Seems like the players already really respect him and are ready to buy in to his system.

Finally some change in Nashville. Fisher was great, but too stubborn to make big changes. Go Titans.

5-10 wins, really? I was thinking 6 tops.

I cannot believe what Philly got for an unproven QB. Is it just me, or is the whole world nuts over Kevin Kolb? He was named the starter last year and immediately got hurt.

Sure but if you play with fire enough you eventually get burned.

It is so frustrating listening to the media because every time the Pats do something they get endless praise.

That's because the Pats make good moves. I don't like them, but they made another one here.

The 5-10 was really illustrating that I don't know what to expect. The 5 being is they really struggle with a new regime and 10 being if they actually click and have some things go their way.

I don't see them going 4-12 or worse, they were 6-10 last year. Now with Vince and Collins gone...I see that as an improvement. Even with all the turnover they still have a solid roster. It's not like they are bottom feeders or anything. They started off 5-2 last season and then fell off the wagon, the D was pretty horrible.

Please don't ask me to repeat this on air: Bears will be releasing TE Brandon Manumaleuna.

Mike Martz is going for a roster with no TEs.

I think they finish last in the division no better than 3rd you agree?

If Andy Reid holds you in high regard, you can pretty much take that to the bank.

Hmmm. I was expecting about 4-12. Now I'm thinking 6-10. We are losing alot, and gaining VERY little so far. Defense will be bad to decent, and I'm thinking the O will be average to decent.
