He was horrible as a back up pg, in which he was recruited for. He showed a lot of promise at the 4 when running a 4 guard offense. I expect to see a lot more of Moore come next year. He should get spot minutes this year, but be solid in the rotation his Jr and Sr year. If Pops is a complete bust, then we could see Moore a good bit this year.

Was thinkin the same thing about his pg skills. But he was actually one of the better penetrator's we had last year. So he was a looong way from horrible. Would like to see him finish a little better this year, around the rim. He brings an X factor to the game. And he is one heck of a shot blocker for his size.

He had a few last year that brought you outta your seat.

He was bad enough at pg to where we had McRae/Richardson/McBee to take over the duties. He's really at good ball handler for someone playing at the 3/4. Can drive and dish pretty well. If he can hit the 3 at a decent percent, then he will be hard to keep him on the bench, IMO. And yeah, he could make a high light reel of all the blocks he had last year.

I believe Goobie was agreeing with you. His first two sentences seemed mutually exclusive to me. I think the "so he was a long way from horrible" comment was directed at the OP who suggested he was horrible, and not at your notion that he was horrible as a PG. I read it as he was saying that he was a good penetrator from the 3/4 spot.

I think we can all agree he has a LONG way to go to be a legitimate PG. He seems more like a Stanley Asumnu type player to me.

Again? He was horrible last year.

Let's be honest, you didn't watch much of our basketball team last year, and you had to google him to put a face with his name.

He was far from horrible. I'd say he killed the expectations most people pegged him for coming in.

Well, IMO, it's a ridiculous, outside-the-box move by Martin that has little chance of real results. There are so many holes in it, thought he might draw it up to inspire the troops instead of players/Moore just counting his shots to get done.

Think you're looking too far into it. He's trying to get his kids in the gym. Period.

Totally agree with exceeding expectations. Starting as a freshman at the end of the year for any SEC team is pretty good.

Um why is jokim Noah ur profile pic? Do I need to introduce you to C.J. Watson?

All collegiate affiliations die for me when players turn pro. At least that's the excuse I use for being a fan of a former Gator. He'd fight to the death for his teammates and hates all opposing players. In an NBA where the players from opposing teams go to their kids' Bar Mitzvahs and send each other Christmas cards, it's cool to see a guy with an old-school competitive streak.

And it's kind of a troll...

Gotta love max effort guys, and they're very rare nodays. And that dude is game in and game out. Closet fan myself. Like the avi Manny. Better than Brad Pitt anyway. :)

Agree. Two of my most hated college players of all time were Joakhim Noah and Tim Tebow. But always admired how they gave their all.

Noah gives 100% all the time. He plays every game like it means everything.

Gonna go for a Tobias in a Magic uni avi soon. Yep, it was a Brad Pitt avi, but it was Aldo Raine, Nazi Killer, Brad Pitt. Can't go wrong with Tarantino.

I still wouldn't make it my Avatar on a TN site. I admire what Cal has done with KY. He's changed the game of college basketball, but I wouldn't put his face under my name. Same with Spurrier, Saban, etc.

Now, this would have been a better avatar:

To each his own. You'd be surprised how someone will grow on you when they play on a team you root for.
