I hope he has a high tolerance for kicks in the face.

I think he got called up to the big leagues before his time, but I think this will work out about as well as a coach could at Ole Miss. That is to say, 7-8 wins on the regular. If I'm not mistaken, the guy can recruit Memphis better than anyone.

He isn't exactly what I'd call a "clean" recruiter, but he should get some good players in and lead them back to that 6-8 win level.

Great match. I hope Freeze succeeds. I think it's the best hire they could've made. Leach isn't what they needed. Freeze and Fedora would've been my two choices.

Not clean. Will get some players. Not sure he can be that effective in the West.

Interested to see how effectively he recruits Memphis in regards to the upper echelon talent. He did a good job in 1 year at ASU getting some 2nd tier kids that Memphis should have taken.

I think he can probably keep the Memphis kids like Still, Walton, etc. kept in the fold. I am sure he will make a run at Redmond, Dale, Kimbrow, Robinson, and some of those kids. It would be a good start if he could flip any of those.

Would it surprise you if Kimbrow ended up flipping to Ole Miss, only to find out that his mom ended up with a "job" at Taco Bell making 75k? lol

Burt Cotton is what Ole Miss needed...as long as Leigh Anne Tuohy doesn't call him during the game with playcall ideas.

The man has the hot hand and is rising fast. To me, he'll always be the coach from the blind side, even though he was portrayed by an actor. That in mind, it'll be kind of hard to take him seriously.
